The immediate past Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege CFR, has felicitated with the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his 62nd birthday celebration, prayed for renewed strength and wisdom to serve the people of the state.
Omo-Agege, who described Oborevwori’s journey from a lawmaker to speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and, now, Governor of the state, as a testament of his dedication to public service, urging him to draw inspiration from such elevation as he continues to govern the state.
The former Delta Central lawmaker stated this in a press statement personally signed by him on Thursday titled “Warmest birthday wishes to my brother, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori!”
Omo-Agege, who is the Obarisi of Urhoboland, urged Governor Oborevwori to take a moment to reflect on his great journey so far and look ahead to the amazing opportunities that lie in store for him and the State as he delivers more dividends of democracy to the people.
