Police Arrest Two Suspected “Yahoo Boys” With Coffin In Delta Poly Community

The Police in Delta State have nabbed two suspected fraudsters (Yahoo boys) for Allegedly being in possession of a coffin in Ogwashi Uku, Aniocha council area of the State. 

It was gathered that they were arrested by local vigilantes in Agidiehe quarters in Ogwashi-Uku town at about 9.30pm on Thursday night when they were conveying the coffin from their house. 

It was learnt that the Vigilante and some area boys were parading the Suspects with the coffin on their heads before the intervention of the Police at Ogwashu Uku. 

Sources said female pants and brassieres were found inside the coffin when the suspects were forced to open it. 

The development was said to have attracted a small crowd from the neighborhood as women and youths   expressed concern over the activities of the Yahoo boys in the area.

“Where did they get the pants and other female items in the coffin”, an eyewitness asked, praying that the law should take its course to serve as a deterrent to others.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident.  

She said the boys were arrested with the coffin, apparently, for alleged ritual, adding, “that the command has stepped in for further investigation into the case.”

  1. Get your stories right and call it what is (evil ritualist) stop misinforming the people Nigerian police misplacing and misusing English or should i say pidgin English with the aim of profiling some particular members of the society(youths)
