Delta Broadcaster, Eyonju, Organises “Wedding Fair” In Warri

All is now set for the most-anticipated maiden edition of “Wedding Fair” in the commercial city of Warri, Delta State. 

Wedding Fair is an event designed to promote and showcase products and services in the wedding industry in Nigeria. 

Hundreds of wedding entrepreneurs have indicated interest to attend the event holding at the Mother of Redeemer Catholic Church Airport junction, Effurun, Thursday December 17, 2020. 

Organiser of the fair and a popular broadcaster with the Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), Warri, Mrs. Eyonju Ann Amioku, said the event will reshape the wedding industry in the state especially in Warri.

Eyonju, speaking on the event, said the event will educate prospective couples and those in the wedding industry including wedding vendors (caterers, decorators, makeup artists, DJs, cake designers, MCs, bridal rentals and jewellers to know what it takes to organise a beautiful wedding. 

Eyonju, whose broadcasting career has seen her successfully hosted several television and radio programs including Delta Morning Watch, Youth and Nation Building, Marital Titbits and Wedding Bliss, urged industry players to take advantage of the event. 

According to her, her radio program “Wedding Bliss is aimed at promoting the Wedding industry, showcasing wedding vendors’ goods and services, celebrating and educating intending couples as well as informing the public on everything about weddings.

“This program has birthed the vision of a WEDDING FAIR, the first of its kind in Delta State which is centered on bringing everyone in the wedding industry together under one platform. 

“This event will be beneficial to wedding vendors, young engaged couples and the general public in the following ways: It will create an avenue for prospective couples and vendors to meet.

“It will provide a conducive environment for businesses to thrive. Build Entrepreneurs and Businesses in the wedding industry.” 

She posited that participation is open to the general public with N10,000  for booking a booth at the event. 

The event WEDDING FAIR 2020 will take place on December 17th, 2020 at Mother of Redeemer Catholic Church Airport junction, Effurun, Delta State from 9am-5pm. 

“WEDDING FAIR 2020 will redefine the wedding industry and also boost upcoming event planners and Entrepreneurs in Delta State thus putting our wedding vendors in the limelight to compete favorably with International standard.  

“The event is open to the general public especially prospective couples, while wedding vendors (Caterers, Decorators, Makeup Artist, DJ, Cake designers, MCs, Bridal Rentals, Jewellers etc.) can register a booth at the cost of N10,000 naira only”, Eyonju further explained.
