In the game of Football the most exciting thing every fan, player, or coach desires to hear are the words, “And… it’s a goal!”

The joy, gladness, and fulfilment that comes from scoring a goal is universal and can actually bring people and even nations together. Hence, it’s a common sight to see friends and foes alike coming together to enjoy a game of football and celebrating the goals scored by their favourite teams.

The importance of “IT’S A GOAL” and the number of goals scored cannot be undermined in deciding who wins the game.

Similarly in life and relationships, there are goals to be scored in the year 2022. You are the player; God is the coach; your life is the field of play.

Thus it’s necessary to determine:

👉 What are your goals for your relationship or love life?

👉 How do you intend to achieve your goals?

👉 What players and resources do you plan to utilize to fulfill those goals?

👉 When do you desire to achieve them?

👉 Where is your goal post?

As the year 2022 begins, these are mind bugging questions that every man and woman ought to meditate upon. It’s never too early to strategize on how to score that relationship goal as well as other goals in life.

☑️If you are single, what’s your relationship goals for 2022? Is it to improve yourself as a potential Mister Right or Mrs. Right? Or, maybe, it’s to take that relationship to the next level of marriage? Is your goal to break up a toxic or harmful relationship and move on?

☑️ If you are married, in which area do you want to score a goal? Perhaps, you aim to become a better and more loving husband or wife? Maybe, a more attentive partner? A great parent? The list is endless. However the truth is that every individual’s goal differs from the next person. But understand that yours is very important.

☑️Next, you need to have an idea on how to achieve that goal. What do you need to do? For example every footballer must undergo constant trainings and practice on the field and off the field to become a great player capable of scoring goals. It’s not going to be easy. You must be willing to work hard, put in time and efforts to score those relationship goals.

☑️ Thereafter it’s pertinent to choose who joins your team. Making the right choice in selecting a life partner cannot be overemphasized if you desire to achieve your relationship goals. Don’t be in a hurry to make this decision. Seek the guidance of the Heavenly Coach who knows the ability of every player on the field of Life. 

☑️ No one can predict when they will fall in love. Oftentimes we’re eager to fall in love instantly with that special someone we are considering to join our team. Hey peeps, slow down. Love is a process that takes time and matures as it grows. I don’t believe in love at first sight because it’s the person you know that you fall in love with… along with their flaws and strengths alike

Thus, do not be in a hurry to fall in love. Remember, 1st Cor 13:1-13. describes love as patient. However when you do fall in love and you are convinced about the person you want to live your life with, be bold enough to work towards a time frame to achieve this goal of Wedding Bliss. Some persons delay this process and sometimes end up spoiling a good relationship.

Last, but not the least point is to take a good shot, “and… it’s a goal.”
